Patrick and Julia came to York in 2007, but in that short time he made a remarkable contribution not only to so many organisations, but also to the lives of all the people who came in contact with him. His kindness, thoughtfulness and remarkable knowledge and insights about so many things were inspiring and joyful. an hour with Patrick over coffee at Bar Convent would send you away feeling uplifted and ready to face the world. he will be much missed by so many of us.
